First Light is our central protector: a hooded figure with open hands, a sheltered world and seven stars. Its strength is expressed through care, restraint and the willingness to answer for its actions.

Conceived by Professor & Bir, it gives their AI safety vision a recognizable face. One hero comes first. Seven supporting principles carry its purpose.

Our prototype direction begins with heavyweight cotton, a soft brushed interior and a generous double-layer hood. Rib cuffs and a substantial hem complete a calm, enveloping silhouette.

Foundation: Target: 420–460 gsm long-staple cotton sweat fabric.
Signature: Midnight navy with dawn-gold and ivory embroidery.
Front: A quiet dawn emblem over the heart.
Back: The guardian shelters a world beneath seven stars.
Inside: Soft embroidery backing, clear care details and a numbered house label for the final edition.

Material targets are subject to swatch, fit and wash approval. Natural fibre alone does not guarantee skin suitability. This is everyday clothing; its protection theme is artistic, with no claim of AI, radiation or supernatural protection.

Professor & Bir envision technology that helps organizations detect, constrain and respond to harmful AI behavior. Values-based strategy, intentional responsibility, accountability and human governance guide that ambition.

First Light expresses this proposed work through a fictional guardian. Technical capabilities and any future critical-infrastructure applications require development and validation; universal defense against rogue AI is not an established capability.

Make the first piece worthy.

The team will refine cloth, fit and artwork on one development prototype. A planned edition of thirty follows material, wear and production approval. Final sizes, pricing and release timing will be announced when confirmed.
